Steven's Birthday

When we got to Tamworth, we did some wedding prep then had a great bbq (as good aussies would celebrate all big occasions) dinner at Grandma and Grandpa's house. mmmm.... cheesecake!! Sorry the pictures are a little fuzzy. I think I had the camera on the wrong setting for night...

Roadtrip to Tamworth!

Here's some pics of Jamie, Dan, Bindy and my trip to Tamworth for Brad (Jamie's brother) and Talia's wedding. I don't have my camera with me at the moment so I can't put up wedding pics yet but they will come soon. Don't worry! Brad and Talia's wedding was about 4 hours from where we live (Port Macquarie) in a little country town called Tamworth. For those in Washinton it'd be similar to Ellensburg. Tamworth is the "country music capitol" of Australia so that was interresting. Anyways, here are the pictures- more to come!

Our Camping Trip

This was our final camping trip of the year because we're headed into the rainy, "cold," autumn months. Between rain showers, we would head out fishing, walking all along the beautiful ocean beach and building camp fires to dry off and stay warm. It was a ton of fun! To make the trip even more exciting, we saw a Dingo less than 100 ft away just strolling along the beach, and later we saw a ring tailed rodent thingy. So cute! More to come soon :) Please be praying for safety on the roads as we travel 4 hours to Tamworth for Brad and Talia's wedding this next weekend as well as smoothing out of details on the actual day. Should be great fun!

A much needed update :)

Yeah, so its been a little while since we've updated our blog... Oops! In short, over the last year we've worked with the youth at Grace Baptist Church, graduated from New Tribes Bible Institute, moved to Seattle for a summer and worked at Sambica Bible Camp and spent 2 months with Amanda's family going on many camping trips before moving to Australia in October. Now we are enjoying the prospect of Jamie starting a 3 year course in couseling psychology in June. Shortly thereafter, our son Logan is due to be born on July 23rd (hopefully not too much later than the 23rd!)! We are excited to celebrate with Jamie's brother in a couple weeks as Brad and Talia are getting hitched on April 26th! We will definitely be keeping our blog updated more regularly so be sure and check back with us soon!!!
